Curious about Swimrun? Maybe new to swimming and especially Open Water swimming? Then come and join us at the BEST Centre Sports on their paradise island. We will help you feel confident in the water and introduce you to the amazing sport of Swimrun. Swimrun World Champion Fanny Kuhn will ensure you get all the tips and tricks needed to feel confident and take your swimming to the next level. Maria Rohman will get you flying up and down those hills that always seem to be part of Swimrun. But most importantly, we will all have lots of fun with new friends!
This camp is open for all women wanting to try swimrun, even if you are a complete beginner! The focus will be on technique and especially on open water swimming – the perfect opportunity to get confident in the water. We accommodate for different speeds and abilities of all individuals in the group so everyone gets the most out of it. Read more below and get inspired to join this trip! 17:00-18:00 TRAVEL RELEASE SESSION
We meet poolside at Bluewater Hotels for a light yoga/stretch and we introduce ourselves and get to know each other.
08:30-09:30 MORNING JOG + SWIMRUN SPECIFIC STRENGTH
09:30-11:00 POOL SWIMMING at BEST Centre
We focus on Open water technique with Fanny Kuhn and do a Swimrun-specific workout.
13:00-14:30 THEORY: OPEN WATER + SWIMRUN GEAR
How to swim in open water let it be calm sea or waves, navigation and drafting. We talk, test and share experiences and get to know each other better.
15:00-17:00 SWIM: OPEN WATER
We apply what we talked about earlier. For some it might be the first time in Open Water, for some it is not.
Please note that the following is not included: Flights (approx. € 100-150 if you book early), beverages other than water during meals and any Extra snacks (we provide during activities away from the hotel).
